Hey there, time traveller!

NOBODY ever said it was cheap to be a Winnipeg Jets fan.
If you’re not able to score any tickets to the first NHL playoff games in this city in 19 years — and with fewer than 1,000 going on sale at 10 a.m. today for each of games three and four, the odds are against you — don’t despair.
There are more ducats available to see the Jets play the Anaheim Ducks — in Southern California.

There are fewer than 200 tickets remaining for each of the first two games of the best-of-seven series at the Honda Center, set for Thursday and Saturday. They range in price from US$36 to US$421, according to the Ducks.
(Individual game tickets for game three next Monday and game four next Wednesday in Winnipeg are priced between $107.75 and $340)
Then there’s the small matter of getting to SoCal. Lori Neufeld, a travel agent at Bonaventure Travel, said a return flight to John Wayne Airport in Anaheim, which is about 20 minutes from the rink, will set you back about $1,050 if you leave Thursday morning and return the next day.
If you fly into LAX instead, that same trip will cost you about $700, but you’ll also have to fork over nearly US$200 in cab fares to get to the game and back.
If you’d prefer to take in both games, flying into John Wayne will cost about $1,600 while the LAX option is just $650, plus the cab fare.
“They’d really have to be dedicated Jets fans and some people are,” Neufeld said.
Allegiant Air’s flights from Fargo to Los Angeles don’t start until June.
