Enjoy a little bit of folk music on a winter(ish) night. The Winnipeg Folk Festival and the West End Cultural Centre present Martin Sexton Monday night at the WECC (moved from the Burton Cummings Theatre). Touring in support of his new album Mix Tape of the Open Road, Sexton also brings special guest Erik White of Brothers McCann. Exhibit examines historic first
Nice Women Don’t Want the Vote, an exhibit commemorating the upcoming 100th anniversary of Manitoba becoming the first province to extend the vote to women, is at the Manitoba Museum until April 10. Remembering the fallen
Pay tribute to Canadians killed in the line of duty on Remembrance Day. There are ceremonies big and small throughout the city Wednesday. Contemporary cool
From next Saturday till Nov. 15, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet presents the Paul Taylor Dance Company at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre.
