Mosquito fogging on schedule, city says

The City of Winnipeg completed all planned mosquito fogging Monday night and is now turning its attention to other areas.

On Tuesday, weather permitting, the the insect control branch will continue to blast adult mosquitoes with malathion between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Crews will treat in Insect Management Areas 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 48. This includes the following neighbourhoods:

7 — Griffin, Meadows, Peguis, Radisson, Regent, Victoria West

8 — Cantebury Park, Kern Park, Kildare Redonda, Transcona North

11 — Glenwood, Norwood East, Norwood West

12 — Archwood, Maginot, Niakwa Park, Stock Yards, Windsor Park

13 — Alpine Place, Elm Park, Lavalee, St. George, Varennes, Worthington

14 — Kingston Crescent, Minnetonka, Norberry, Pulberry, Victoria Crescent

15 — Niakwa Place, Southdale, Southland Park, Symington Yards, The Mint

16 — Fraipoint, Island Lakes, Royalwood, Sage Creek

17 — Dakota Crossing, Meadowood

18 — Maple Grove Park, Normand Park, River Park South, St. Vital Centre, Vista

19 — St. Vital Perimeter South
