Winnipeg police say they’re continuing to look for a suspect in a homicide that occurred just before Christmas.
Clarence Ignace, 25, was the city’s final homicide victim of 2016. He was stabbed and found in the 400 block of Kennedy Street Dec. 20.
At the time, police released few details, other than the victim’s name and that of the suspect.
The statement Tuesday offered little more, other than the fact that police are still looking for Tyron Custer Harper, 23, the suspect who faces second-degree murder charges in connection to the homicide.
Harper is described as aboriginal, 5’10” and weighing 200 pounds. He is considered dangerous and not to be approached, police said.
