The Association of Manitoba Municipalities has a new president.

Ralph Groening, reeve of the RM of Morris, was elected to the post Tuesday, at the AMM annual meeting in Winnipeg.

Groening, a vice-president of the organization since 2012, succeeds Chris Goertzen, the former mayor of Steinbach, who did not seek re-election this fall.
