Where: Retail store in the 3000 block of Portage Avenue
A man was caught attempting to steal merchandise; as he was being escorted out of the store, he assaulted one of the employees before fleeing.
Incident: 1247
When: Sept. 15
Where: Northeast corner of Winnipeg
A man broke into a house and stole the owner’s vehicle, which was then used in several other crimes within the city, including several hit-and-runs, while fleeing police.
