Recently, several people have fallen prey to what is commonly known as the grandparent scam. Someone receives a phone call from a person claiming to be a grandchild in desperate need of financial help. Ultimately, the victim is asked to withdraw a large amount of money and give it to a courier to assist the grandchild.

Where: 100 block of Avenue De La Cathedrale
A man was seen defacing a historical tomb. The person who witnessed the act yelled at the perpetrator who then fled on foot.
