CFL to issue revised list of all-stars

The CFL is currently scrambling to right several wrongs after making public Wednesday an incorrect list of divisional all-stars, the Free Press has learned.

According to multiple sources, the CFL provided teams with the wrong list of winners, with the incorrect list also posted online for fans and all to see. The CFL calculated the results incorrectly, the sources said, but didn’t provide any further information as to how things could have gone awry.

The new list will have multiple corrections, though the sources wouldn’t provide names of who was being taken off the list and who would be added on, nor whether the East or West Division was most affected. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers had 11 players named West Division all-stars.

Suspicion that something might be wrong first began after the CFL scrubbed the list from the internet, which occurred late Wednesday afternoon, hours after it was made public.
