Crews extinguish blaze on Sargent Avenue

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to the 600 block of Sargent Ave. Saturday morning following reports of a fire.

Upon their arrival to the vacant, two-storey home, firefighters battled the fire from inside the house.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.

Residents are asked to be cautious while travelling in the area as the water used to extinguish the fire has frozen and created slippery conditions.
