$60-million lotto ticket sold in Winnipeg

Someone who purchased a lotto ticket in Winnipeg is $60-million richer.
According to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Friday’s Lotto Max jackpot ticket was sold in Winnipeg.
The winning ticket numbers are: 1, 3, 26, 28, 36, 47, and 50 and the bonus is 48.
Two women, one teen charged after car theft, police chase

Two women and a teenage girl were charged after the group took off in a stolen car and led the police on a chase on Friday evening in Winnipeg.
At approximately 8:25 p.m., a patrol unit near River Avenue and Osborne Street located a sedan without a license plate matching the description of a stolen vehicle reported on March 16. The sedan drove recklessly and fled.
Following a car chase through the Assiniboine Park, Tuxedo and South Tuxedo areas, and the assistance of AIR1, ground units were able to stop the car near Sterling Lyon Parkway and Kenaston Boulevard where the suspects were taken into custody. Three police cruisers sustained damage during the incident.
A 36-year-old Winnipeg woman has been charged with four counts of assaulting a peace officer, flight while pursued by peace officer, dangerous driving and car theft. A 17-year-old also from Winnipeg has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Both were detained.

Jets lead Devils 2-0 after first period

The Winnipeg Jets lead the New Jersey Devils 2-0 after one period of play at Canada Life Centre.
Nikolaj Ehlers opened the scoring five minutes into the period, after he was left alone in front of the net for his 11th of the season. Nino Niederreiter then doubled the lead at the 16:15 mark of the frame, cleaning up a Blake Wheeler rebound in front for his 24th.
Shots are 13-7 in favour of the Jets.
