When: Oct. 17, 2022
Where: 1400 block of Portage Avenue
A woman at a retail store began to select and conceal merchandise. She exited the store without paying and was followed by security. When they confronted her, she produced a machete and lunged at them before fleeing in an awaiting vehicle.
Incident: 1301
When: March 16, 2023
Where: Transit bus at Portage Avenue and Sherbrook Street
A person assaulted a passenger twice with no provocation on a Winnipeg Transit bus. After the assaults the suspect exited the bus on foot in an unknown direction.
