Hey there, time traveller!

A well-used gravel road in Lac du Bonnet is set for reconstruction.
Transportation Minister Doyle Piwniuk has announced Provincial Road 433 will be upgraded to an asphalt surface at an estimated cost of $16 million.
The roadway leads to the Cape Coppermine development, a growing residential area.
“The Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet is a thriving hub of business and community and welcomes many Manitobans to experience the outdoors each year, particularly in the summer,” Piwniuk said in a release. “This major investment in (PR) 433 will ensure those travelling in the area, including business and recreational travellers, have a safe and convenient access route through Lac du Bonnet.”
Design work will begin in the 2023-24 fiscal year and construction will begin after its completion, Piwniuk said.
Lac du Bonnet Reeve Loren Schinkel said the road services the Granite Hills Golf Course and the roadway improvements will have an economic benefit in the community.
“PR 433 is in dire need of an upgrade and this project was in the making for many years,” Schinkel said.
