Suspect charged with second-degree murder

RCMP are on the lookout for a murder suspect from Sandy Bay First Nation. A second degree murder charge has been laid against 26-year-0ld Fantasia Prince in the June 29 homicide of a 24-year-old woman.
Police are asking anyone with information about Prince’s whereabouts to call the Manitoba First Nation Police Service at 204-843-7700 or the Amaranth RCMP at 204-843-2691. RCMP warned Prince may be armed and should not be approached.
Jonsson-Fjallby signs new deal with Jets

The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed a speedy depth forward.
The NHL club announced Axel Jonsson-Fjallby has agree to a two-year contract, with an annual cap hit of US$775,000. The deal is a two-way contract in 2023-24 and a one-way contract in 2024-25.
Jonsson-Fjallby, 25, played 50 games for Winnipeg in 2022-23 and registered 14 points (6G, 8A) and eight penalty minutes.
The product of Stockholm, Sweden was claimed off waivers from the Washington Capitals last October and also suited up for four games with the Manitoba Moose.
