Fire breaks out in high-rise apartment on Hargrave Street

A fire broke out in a high-rise apartment on Hargrave Street Sunday, according to a news release.
The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a medical incident in a high-rise apartment in the 0-100 block of Hargrave Street in the early hours of Sunday.
At 2:57 a.m., the crews reached the location where they found smoke in the building and called for additional dispatch crews. Firefighters declared a working fire at the scene, the release said.
Some residents were temporarily evacuated. Firefighters attacked the fire from inside the building, declaring it under control at 3:55 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
