Crews respond to fire in Main Street hotel
12:40 PM
A fire broke out in a hotel in the 700 block of Main Street Sunday morning. No injuries were reported.
At 7:41 a.m., the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to the scene where crews found light smoke coming from the high-rise building.
Firefighters evacuated people who were inside and attacked the fire from the inside. The fire was brought under control at 7:53 a.m.
The social services team helped displaced residents find temporary housing. The fire is under investigation.
