Jets ink defenceman Stanley to one-year extension
2:56 PM
The Winnipeg Jets have reached a one-year contract extension with defenceman Logan Stanley, the NHL club announced Saturday afternoon.
The deal will pay the 25-year-old blue-liner US$1 million, which is around what Stanley was making over his three-year, entry-level contract that expired after the 2022-23 NHL season.
Stanley has played three seasons with the Jets, but has struggled with injuries and inconsistent play. He played just 19 games last season, registering a goal and two assists and was a minus-1.
