Winnipeg police say a missing child has been found safe.

Minnedosa man chased, vehicle rammed
3:52 PM
A man was chased and rammed in his SUV by another man in a vehicle early Saturday morning in Minnedosa.
RCMP say the victim called Mounties while he was being chased down the small town’s Main Street at about 12:30 a.m., before his vehicle was rammed by a suspect’s vehicle, making it inoperable.
The victim ran away and officers arrived to find the suspect with a knife. RCMP say the victim, a 53-year-old from the town, saw an unattended campfire on Minnedosa Beach and parked his vehicle to put it out before another vehicle pulled up and flashed its lights at him.
The victim got in his SUV and sped away as the other vehicle followed him, ramming into his SUV several times before the victim stopped to run off. The suspect, RCMP say, then got in the victim’s vehicle and got it running, before ramming it into a fence in a back alley. The suspect stole personal items and then went back to his own vehicle, where Mounties arrested him, RCMP say.
A 21-year-old man from Minnedosa is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, theft of a vehicle, unlawful transportation of cannabis and liquor, and breach of a protection order. He was released by the courts.

While staff members will have to wear masks, they will be optional for visitors at most facilities, but not at places where immunocompromised people are being treated including cancer units or in the transplant program.
