8:47 PM
The Winnipeg Jets continued their winning ways on Sunday, beating the Arizona Coyotes 6-2 at Mullett Arena.
Mark Scheifele scored twice, while Vlad Namestnikov, Cole Perfetti, Nikolaj Ehlers and Adam Lowry had singles. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 15 of 17 shots he faced.
Winnipeg is now 26-9-4, leading the Central Division, the Western Conference and the entire NHL in both points and point percentage.
The Jets won all three games on this road trip and are now 6-0-0 in the last nine. They haven’t lost in regulation in 12 games (10-0-2) and are 14-1-2 in the past 17 outings.
They have also gone 29 consecutive games of not giving up more than three goals.
