Jets beat Blues 4-2

The Winnipeg Jets beat the St. Louis Blues 4-2 on Tuesday night at Canada Life Centre, extending their winning streak to four games.
Sean Monahan, Brenden Dillon, Kyle Connor and Alex Iafallo had the goals, while defenceman Josh Morrissey and Nikolaj Ehlers each had a pair of assists.
Pavel Buchnevich and Brandon Saad scored for the visitors.
Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit made 36 saves, while Blues netminder Joel Hofer stopped 28 pucks.
Winnipeg improves to 37-15-5 and now hit the road for three straight games, starting Thursday night in Dallas. St. Louis falls to 30-26-2.
Missing, vulnerable 81-year-old last seen near St. Boniface Hospital

Winnipeg police are searching for an 81-year-old woman last seen near St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday morning in the frigid cold.
Jessie Howell was reported missing after she was last seen near Tache Avenue and Dollard Boulevard at about 7:25 a.m. Police missing persons investigators describe her as a vulnerable person.
Police initially said she was wearing white running shoes and a light green track jacket, but said later Tuesday afternoon she was actually in dark running shoes, a light-coloured spring jacket and light-coloured pants. Investigators also released a new photo of the missing woman, taken from surveillance footage.
She’s 5-8 with a medium build and white hair.
Police ask anyone who knows where she might be to call the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin tribute coming to the Burt

Jason Bonham, who followed his father, Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham, behind the drum kit, channels his father’s musical memories for Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, at the Burton Cummings Theatre on April 25.
Tickets go on sale March 1 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com and ticketmaster.ca, however a presale is already underway, with tickets ranging in price from $60 to $375.83.
Jason Bonham has performed with many artists, including members of Led Zeppelin at the band’s reunion shows. This touring show is with his own group who will perform the Zeppelin tracks that made his father, who died in 1980, one of rock’s most idolized drummers.
$9M in cocaine found in suitcases at Winnipeg’s airport

The Canada Border Services Agency found cocaine it said is worth more than $9 million in two suitcases left unclaimed at Winnipeg’s airport.
The suitcases were from an international flight. CBSA found 60 wrapped packages containing a total of 74.8 kilograms of suspected cocaine on Feb. 9.
The drugs were handed over to Manitoba RCMP.
