Jets beat Wild 4-2

The Winnipeg Jets downed the Minnesota Wild 4-2 in NHL action in St. Paul, Minn., on Saturday afternoon to hit the 100-point mark for the season.
Fourth-liners Vlad Namestnikov, Alex Iafallo and Morgan Barron each scored a goal, while Kyle Connor had the other tally for the visitors.
Connor Hellebuyck made 25 saves.
Kirill Kaprizov scored both goals for Minnesota.
The Jets have now won three straight games to sit at 47-24-6 on the year. They have five regular-season games remaining, including the next three on the road.
Next up is the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.
Man arrested after attempted robbery

A 21-year-old man is facing various charges after an attempted robbery Friday at a sporting goods store on the 500 block of Sterling Lyon Parkway.
Winnipeg police say the man took an item inside the business and did not attempt to pay for it before he left.
When confronted by staff, the suspect allegedly produced a knife. Police say the the 31-year-old male victim sustained minor injuries.
The suspect was located in the area where he was arrested. He is charged with robbery, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, possession of break in instruments, and fail to comply with condition of release order.
He was detained in custody.
