WINNIPEG — A 47-year-old man from the RM of Brokenhead was killed Wednesday evening after his all-terrain vehicle collided with a pick-up truck.
At about 5:30 p.m., a 2011 Ford pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on Provincial Road 317 when it hit a 2008 Honda all-terrain vehicle that was southbound on Woodrow Road. Woodrow Road is controlled by a stop sign.
Lac du Bonnet RCMP and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the ATV, a 47-year-old man, was rushed to hospital by ambulance but did not survive.
His name will not be released.
The driver of the pick-up truck, a 59-year-old man from Beausejour, sustained minor injuries.
RCMP continue to investigate.
PR 317 runs east-west between Libau and Lac du Bonnet.
