Community Safety & Crime Prevention Program picks
Grant recipients were chosen by a committee comprised of four representatives from community services, one from the Winnipeg Committee for Safety and one Winnipeg Police Service representative. They set the evaluation criteria to determine eligibility and to assess the need for the activity and its potential benefit to the community.
The community groups receiving funding are:

Jib Stop — Crystal Meth Recovery Peer Support & Action Group: $5,000
Central Neighbourhoods — Community Capacity Building for Crisis Response: $3,000
West End 24-Hour Safe Space — outreach: $4,988
Gang Action Interagency Network — Healing Together Men’s Group Partnership: $5,000
Opportunities for Employment Inc. — Community Employment Support Program: $5,000
