Hey there, time traveller!

Whistleblower Edward Snowden, American political activist and author Angela Davis and eco-feminist Vandana Shiva lead a roster of national and international civil rights leaders for the Spring 2017 Axworthy Distinguished Lectures at the University of Winnipeg in May.
Snowden is speaking by web cast May 9, Davis at Riddell Hall, May 6 and Shiva May 25, also at Riddell Hall.
Anticipating a crowd, the university issued a statement Monday saying it will set aside seats for $30 a per lecture.
“Anyone who is interested can secure reserve seating to each individual lecture now for a donation of $30. All funds go to support future public lectures,” the statement said.
Other speakers lined up for the series include Senator Murray Sinclair, the chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and Winona LaDuke, the American indigenous and environmental activist.
