A woman selected more than $300 in merchandise at a grocery store and tried to leave without paying. When stopped by an employee, the suspect threatened to stab the staff member with a used syringe before fleeing.
Incident: 1185
When: Oct. 27, 2021
Where: 800 block of Leila Avenue
A man attempted to steal several items from a retail store. He swung a knife at an employee when stopped and made his getaway. The same person is responsible for a similar crime at another store nearby. The photos show this person at both stores.
