When: Jan. 21, 2022
Where: Burrows Avenue and Aikins Street
Passengers of a taxi, a man and a woman, asked to be taken to this intersection. When they arrived, the woman exited the cab but the man produced a machete and attacked the driver, who suffered extensive damage to his hands. When the driver fled, the man fled the area, stealing both the taxi and the driver’s cellphone.

When: Jan. 22, 2022
Where: 300 block of St. Mary Avenue
At a restaurant, a woman waited for the cashier to be distracted and then reached over the counter and stole the cashier’s cellphone. She was captured on video in the same building while not wearing a mask.
