A woman visited two locations of a financial institution in Winnipeg and tried to gain cash from an account by fraudulently claiming to be who she was not. The red arrow in one photo is pointing to a piercing in the area of the suspect’s eye.

Incident: 1197

When: Feb. 1, 2022
Where: Stella Avenue and McGregor Street

Both the victim and the suspect were on a Transit bus when the suspect grabbed the hood of the victim’s jacket and tried to drag him off the bus. The victim was able to pull free but as the suspect exited the bus he turned and pointed a firearm at the victim. The bus doors then closed and the vehicle drove on its way.
