Two women at a retail store began selecting and concealing merchandise in reusable bags. As the pair were attempting to leave, they were intercepted by a store employee who tried to thwart the theft. The employee was punched and kicked by one suspect before both made off with an unknown quantity of stolen merchandise.

When: May 26, 2022
Where: 800 block of Ellice Avenue
A man and woman attempted to steal merchandise at a convenience store. A store employee intervened but was threatened by the woman, who produced a knife and lunged towards the employee several times. Both suspects fled before police arrived.
