A man shot and taken to hospital in critical condition Monday night has been upgraded to stable.
The man, in his 30s, was shot just before midnight in the 100 block of Higgins Avenue.
Const. Rob Carver said the two men were speaking with each other outside, possibly arguing, when the shooting took place. The shooting was from relatively close range, he said.
The victim is co-operating with police. Anyone with information is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
