WAYNE GLOWACKI / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS FILES Premier Brian Pallister and Leah Hextall have a "fireside chat" at the Manitoba Progressive Conservatives annual meeting at the RBC Convention Centre on Nov. 4.

Hextall played a prominent role at the Manitoba Progressive Conservative party’s annual general meeting in Winnipeg early this month. At the event, she asked friendly questions of Premier Brian Pallister in a session dubbed a “fireside chat.”

Pallister has used the format to communicate with party members at the last two PC annual meetings instead of giving a formal speech.
