Trees Winnipeg, a non-profit organization with a mandate to protect, preserve and promote the forest in our urban environment, is looking for a volunteer treasurer. Email office@treeswinnipeg.org.
Youth ages 14 to 19 are encouraged to sign up to be volunteer summer camp counsellors at FortWhyte Alive. Counsellors guide children in outdoor adventures such as swimming, nature hikes and games, canoeing, fishing, archery and crafts. Got to fortwhyte.org for more information.
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking members for its local health involvement groups. Community members from the following neighbourhoods are needed: Brooklands, Centennial, Elmwood, Inkster, Mayfair, the North End, Point Douglas, St. Boniface, St. James and Tyndall.
