Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate two separate stabbing incidents Sunday night they say may be related.
The two stabbings occurred within an hour of each other in the inner city.
At 9:55 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was attacked by a number of people and stabbed near Ellice Avenue and McMicken Street. He was transported to hospital where he remained in critical condition, police Const. Rob Carver said.

At about 10:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Graham Avenue, a 19-year-old man was stabbed. He was treated at the scene for non life-threatening injuries.
No description of a suspect or suspects was released.
Anyone with information about either attack is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
