Missing Headingley teen found safe

A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing from Headingley Feb. 26 has been found.

On Sunday afternoon, Manitoba RCMP issued a news release stating the teen has been safely located. Police had asked for the public’s help finding the teen, who was last seen leaving school in Winnipeg on the morning of Feb. 26 and didn’t return home to Headingley that evening. She had been in touch with her caregiver via online messaging.
