Several hospitalized in multi-vehicle crash
11:30 AM
A multi-car collision resulted in several people being sent to hospital Monday morning.
The crash occurred at Ellice Avenue and Banning Street just past 9 a.m. Monday, Winnipeg Police Service Const. Claude Chancy confirmed.
He said it was too early to say how many drivers were involved in the crash or how many people were hospitalized, but WPS expects to release more information later Monday or Tuesday.
Police crews remained on scene as of 11:30 a.m.
Firefighters respond to Flora Avenue house fire

No injuries were reported after a house fire on Flora Avenue early this morning.
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to the 600 block of Flora Avenue at about 6:44 a.m. Aug. 4. Firefighters declared the blaze under control at 7:26 a.m.
No damage estimates were available.
