Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 29/10/2008 (6382 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
First off, it’s terrific to be back at work.
I can’t remember the last time I was grinning as I walked through the doors of the Free Press, greeting people like Ebenezer Scrooge after his conversion. I hadn’t seen a lot of my friends in a couple of weeks because we had different picket shifts. I hadn’t seen any of my management friends at all.
But now I find myself scratching around for column and blog ideas. I hated being on strike but there was something soothing about living in a news blackout. The problem is I’ve got little to say because I’ve spent almost three weeks at strike HQ or on my couch or complaining to my friends that i miss work.
Tell me what’s been happening in your worlds.
