Kids were wild about Harry at the debut performance of this high-energy production, and small wonder. Actor Tom Keenan warmed up the crowd big-time, appearing with a bucket of colourful markers and inviting them to decorate Harry’s white suit before the show.

Worked like a magic charm, as did the rest of the story penned by local actor-writer Cory Wojcik.

A six-year-old girl named Madison (Gillian Moon) invents Harry after she and her chronically busy mom (Laura Kolisnyk) move to a new home.

Harry thinks Madison’s mom is a dragon, and since he has a problem with one Capt. Pillowhead — a villain who took over his closet — the duo forms a pact to vanquish the monsters.

I thought it was a fun story with a sweet finish and a first-rate cast. The kids in front of me found it engrossing, laugh-out-loud funny and downright aww-inspiring.

Martin is your average six-year-old boy with an extraordinary imagination. An imagination so active it keeps him up at night.

Enter Harry, your average imaginary friend who teaches Martin to use his imagination and shows him how to ignore those things that keep him up at night.
