THE Canadian champion in the women’s 10,000 metres, Winnipeg-born Andrea Grove-McDonough, has been hired as assistant coach of the women’s cross-country/track and field team at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn.
Grove-McDonough is a former All-American and All-Big Ten Academic Conference selection at the University of Minnesota.
