— The Coyotes, coming off a 3-1 loss to the Oilers in Edmonton Monday, are 13-24-6 and 13th of 14 teams in the Western Conference.

— The game marks the return of C Alex Burmistrov to Winnipeg. The Russian-born forward, picked up on waivers by the Coyotes on Jan. 2, registered an assist in his Arizona debut Monday night in a 3-1 Edmonton victory. Burmistrov, 25, had just two assists in 23 games with the Jets this season.
