The Winnipeg Jets will host their annual Fan Fest event just as training camp begins next month.

Folks wanting an up-close look at how the 2023-24 squad is shaping up can do so on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the hockey for all centre.

Two on-ice sessions, player interviews on a stage, alumni meet-and-greets and cultural performances celebrating the Jets’ Filipino and South Asian Heritage and WASAC games will all be on the itinerary.

The Royal Canadian Air Force band will also perform, while children can participate in various interactive games and displays, including shooting on mascot Mick E. Moose in the Ice Lab and playing NHL 24 in a video game lounge

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free parking in the adjacent Assiniboia Downs lot.

Free mobile tickets are required to enter Fan Fest and will be available beginning Thursday, Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. at WinnipegJets.com/FanFest.

A limit of eight tickets will be allowed per order.

Jets players will hit the ice in two groups, at 9 a.m. and noon, and seating will be limited. Ticket-holders are encouraged to begin lining up for the on-ice sessions after 8 a.m. for first-come, first-served seating. Fans who do not get into the first session can line up for the second session.
