The Winnipeg Goldeyes dropped their series to the Kansas City Monarchs over the weekend.
After dropping Friday’s doubleheader, the Fish went on to lose 5-2 and 5-4 to the Monarchs on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
In Saturday’s game, Ramon Bramasco and Tanner O’Tremba had the Goldeyes’ runs, while the Sunday game, Bramasco, Keshawn Lynch scored a run each, while Andy Armstrong scored twice for the Fish.
The Goldeyes go back on the road for six games before the all-star break/ Their first series starts Tuesday against the Sioux Falls Canaries before being hosted by the Lincoln Saltdogs starting Friday. — staff
