The general public can buy tickets starting Thursday for the Blue Jays’ return to the Rogers Centre.

Season subscribers will get early access before the remaining tickets for the Jays’ first Toronto homestand in 670 days go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday — with all sales online or through the club’s ticket office at 416-341-1234.

Season-ticket holders for this season have until Tuesday to move into different seats if they choose. Anyone with season tickets for next year gets a crack at the opening homestand on Wednesday.

The Jays will make their long-awaited return July 30 against the Kansas City Royals, the first of 10 straight home dates with a maximum of 15,000 fans under provincial guidelines during the pandemic.

Other key points:

  • The club will host 250 front-line workers in a complimentary section at each game.
  • Tickets will be sold for the 100 and 200 levels only.
  • Two-thirds of bowl tickets will be sold as they were in the past, while the rest will be packaged as physically distanced pods of up to four.
  • Executive suites, the TD Clubhouse and Ticketmaster Lounge will open at limited capacity.
  • Ticket information for future homestands will be announced at a later date in case healthy and safety regulations change.

For the first homestand:

  • Face coverings will be required for all fans ages two and up, except when eating or drinking in ticketed seating or designated areas.
  • Mobile ticketing and cashless payments only.
  • Symptom screening prior to entering the park.
  • A modified concession menu with pre-packaged items.
  • Increased cleaning and sanitization throughout the park.
