Look out! The Toronto Blue Jays are heating up.

After a series sweep against the Oakland A’s at Rogers Centre — capped with an 8-0 rout Sunday — the Jays remained in the wild-card chase, improving their odds of making the playoffs to 18.5 per cent.

Now, the Blue Jays are heading to the Bronx for a crucial four-game series against the Yankees, who currently sit 4.5 games ahead of the Jays and occupy the first wild-card spot heading into Monday afternoon’s game (1 p.m., Sportsnet).
