SASKATCHEWAN Roughriders coach Corey Chamblin was asked on Wednesday morning if he would allow his players to have sex on the eve of the Grey Cup.

“They’ll be focused on winning. This is championship week. They win the championship, they’ll have a lot of it, trust me,” said Chamblin.

When asked the same question with the ballroom still giggling from Chamblin’s answer, Austin shook his head and laughed, “I got nothing after that answer. I got nothing.”

CURFEW CLUB: Chamblin has checked his entire team into a hotel and installed a 10 p.m. curfew in an attempt to remove the distraction of playing the Grey Cup at home in front of arguably the nation’s most rabid fanbase.

COLD, WHAT COLD? Austin sniffed at the suggestion his team won’t be able to handle the cold weather this week. “We can all weather a little cold for three hours to play in a championship game,” he said.

The Riders are practising at an indoor facility in Moose Jaw this week while the Tiger-Cats braved the wind, snow and minus-10 temperature on Wednesday. Austin reserved the right to move indoors as well later in the week.
