JAMES Murphy, who won three Grey Cups with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, will be inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 7 at the 30th annual Induction Dinner as one of seven athletes, two builders and two teams.

The 2009 inductees will include athletes Sandi (Coghill) Anderson — fivepin bowling; Lesley (Hamerton) Divers — basketball; David Drybrough — athletics; Keith Elder — pistol shooting; Andy Hebenton — hockey; H. Sanford (Sandy) Riley — sailing; along with Murphy; builders Evelyne (Olafson) Holenski — softball and Ray Turnbull — curling; and teams 1948/49 Brandon Wheat Kings in hockey and 1972/75/76 St. Andrews Super Saints in basketball.
