Shabazz sidelined

Linebacker Siddeeq Shabazz missed practice on Tuesday with an injury to his left ankle, but coach Mike Kelly says he’ll play on Saturday in Calgary against the Stampeders.

Graveyard in Cowtown

The last time the Blue Bombers won in Calgary was Oct. 18, 2002, taking a 35-20 decision over the Stamps. The Bombers have lost six in a row in Calgary by an average of 17 points per game.

Coming back

Kelly says receiver Adarius Bowman is expected to play on Saturday. Bowman has missed the last three games with a lower body injury. Linebacker Joe Lobendahn is also close to being upgraded to active status. Lobendahn injured his shoulder in Week 1.
