Hey there, time traveller!

CASEY TO THE LIONS
The B.C. Lions announced Monday they have added QB Casey Printers to their practice roster. Gritty, but injury-prone Buck Pierce continues to start with Jarious Jackson on the shelf and is backed up by Travis Lulay. The Lions also still have Zac Champion in their employ.
PENALTY PARADE
The Bombers had been one of the fewest-penalized clubs through the first half of the season, but have been nailed for 24 infractions totalling 194 yards in the last two weeks.
ED TAIT’S CFL FYI
NO TERRENCE
Bomber head coach Mike Kelly confirmed Monday that slotback Terrence Edwards, the club’s top receiver, will not be available for this week’s home date against the Argonauts, have being lit up by Alouettes linebacker Shea Emry after a Michael Bishop interception on Sunday. Edwards was unconscious for a long spell before leaving the game on his own, and has no recollection of the hit.
“He pretty much caught a right hook from Mike Tyson and was still a little wobbly today,” said Kelly. “My guess is we’ll keep him out this week.”
Asked if the Bombers planned to take Emry’s hit up with the league, Kelly said: “Right now I’m going to hold comment on that, but we are certainly looking at a couple of things, yes.”
BISHOP GETS THE CALL
The Bombers will start the veteran Bishop again this week against Toronto, as Kelly keeps repeating his ‘love the one your with’ mantra.
“We’ll just keep trying to find ways to improve and put him situations where we can get the ball to some of our playmakers’ hands and be smart about what we’re doing,” said Kelly. “I don’t want to pin everything on the quarterback. We did have numerous balls dropped. We did have probably one of our most explosive plays of the entire season called back because of holding (a Fred Reid screen pass for 54 yards). We are collectively all taking our turns at holding ourselves back.”
Kelly did say newcomer Casey Bramlet needs more snaps under fire as well.
“The only way we’re going to learn more about Casey is if Casey plays,” said the boss. “That’s what we have to look at right now. But we also understand that we have a veteran in here right now and we have to ride that horse right now. Michael’s been outstanding in his attitude and his approach. There’s nobody that wants to see us put it all together more than Mike Bishop does.”
THE TRUTH?
Apparently Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones has the ‘real’ explanation as to why he’s not a Bomber. Off The Field News, an on-line football site, reports that Jones Twittered the true reason he’s not in the CFL. “I cannot sit back anymore and not say anything, the reason I didn’t go to the CFL is — because they wanted me to commit for two years. So you people can stop with all the rumors.”
QUOTABLE
“They only thing I’ve been told is there’s a big theatre right there, nice stores over there… that’s about it so far.” — New Bomber DE Odell Willis, grinning when asked if he had been told what his role might be with the team.
