Hey there, time traveller!

A T.O. FOR T.E.:
Slotback Terrence Edwards is a no-go this week against Toronto since he is still experiencing concussion symptoms after being lit up by Alouette LB Shea Emry in Sunday’s loss. The Bombers have yet to hear from the CFL on whether Emry will be disciplined. “Shea Emry is a good football player and he plays hard and he strikes ya,” said Bomber head coach Mike Kelly. “But I also have to protect my players and I think that hit was out of the realm of normal conduct within a physical, violent game.”
MORE DOUBLE D?
Expect to see Dominique Dorsey more involved in the Argo offence this week and for the rest of the season. Dorsey was strictly a kick returner in last week’s loss to the Lions, but could take some offensive snaps against the Bombers on Saturday. “We’re trying to get him up to speed as fast as we can,” Argo head coach Bart Andrus told The Toronto Star.
NOT YET, RICKY:
Bomber fans shouldn’t get too geared up about seeing new QB Ricky Santos, although Casey Bramlet will take some snaps again this week for starter Michael Bishop. “Ricky just got off the plane,” said Kelly. “We were able to do that with Michael because he had years of experience in the league. Ricky doesn’t quite have that yet. We’re going to give Ricky this week just to get his feet on the ground and get acclimated. Then next week we’ll start to give him more reps in practice and see how he responds to that.”
SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM:
Here’s new Bomber WR Dudley Guice Jr. on the transition from the American game to the CFL: “The big field… that was a shock. I didn’t realize Canadian football was so hard. Like I told coach the other day at practice, I definitely respect Canadian football players because it’s a lot tougher than I thought and you’ve got to have the right mind frame out there running on the field. But the more you get experience with it, the more comfortable you are with it the better you get and the more creative you can be.”
