THE Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added defensive back Bernard Hicks and offensive lineman Andre Douglas to their 2010 training camp roster.
Both players are imports.
Douglas, a 6-foot-4, 308-pounder from Temple University, was more recently a member of the Dallas Cowboys practice roster. In college, it was his job to protect current Bomber quarterback prospect Adam DiMichele. Douglas started 24 games in his final two seasons.
Hicks, a 5-foot-11, 210-pound safety, made 24 starts in four years with the California Bears. In 2008, his season was cut short due to injury but he still ended the year with 23 tackles.
In 2007, his junior year at Cal, Hicks logged 13 games and nine starts, finishing with 40 tackles and four pass knockdowns.
