Sinking ship
Not a good stretch for the Toronto Argonauts. RB Cory Boyd is out 2-3
weeks with a bad knee, suffered in Friday’s loss to Winnipeg. The
Argos received worse news on starting non-import LB Jason Pottinger.
He’s out for the season with — you guessed it — a knee injury.
Celebrate Cahoon
Look for Ben Cahoon, the CFL’s all-time receptions leader (1,017), to
be honoured by his former team, the Montreal Alouettes, Friday versus
the Argos. Talk about perfect timing: Cahoon was a favourite target of
QB Anthony Calvillo, who needs one more TD pass to reach 395 and
surpass Damon Allen as the CFL’s all-time leader.
