Blue Bombers quarterback Buck Pierce left the game after the first half with what the club was calling a bruised left quadricep. He finished the night 9-16 for 149 yards, 1 TD and 2 INT.
LATE HITS
The Stampeders appeared to be targeting Pierce and were called twice in the first half for late hits on the Bombers quarterback.
Long ball
Pierce hooked up with slotback Terrence Edwards in the second quarter for a 49-yard touchdown strike.
