For all the good things the Bombers are doing on the field this season, it seems the gambling community remains unimpressed. For example: Winnipeg, 5-1 and in first place in the CFL, is a one-point

underdog versus the one-win B.C. Lions (1-5) Saturday. Huh, Vegas?

Sick bay

Besides DTs Doug Brown (foot) and Dorian Smith (ankle), other Bombers on the mend include DB Johnny Sears (ankle); WR Kito Poblah (knee); LB Leslie Majors (leg) and DB Deon Beasley (hip). DB Jovon Johnson also missed some practice time with a sore ankle, but he’s not expected to

miss Saturday’s game.
